Hey North States Supergate Easy Open and Lock Gate, Espresso

Good product, in fact, I just ordered a second one for a second doorway to completely section off our family room for our 5 month old puppy (Bichon Frise/Maltese/Poodle mix). The gate is very attractive (as far as gates go) so you really don't mind it being up aesthetically - in fact, it blends in very well with our Brazilian cherry wood floors. It's very easy to use, appears to be pretty well made, and is secure (I used the pressure mounts only). Best feature - It has a great stay open OR auto shut feature that is very convenient for when our (12 lb) puppy is out our otherwise contained (in his crate) and you don't want to ... OK I just got Safety 1st Wooden Swing Gate, Espresso

Safety 1st 42055

Only lasted 4 months with moderate use. This thing is made about as cheap as you can find. It was extremely hard to install too. About 4 months in, the handle cover broke but it was still usable. A few days later some pins flew out (I think they only held the cover to the handle) then about a week later the mechanism that opened both the top & bottom pins (for opening & closing) broke. It would open the top pin but not the bottom one making it impossible to open/close or use. I called for a replacement and demanded another model. I will NEVER buy one of their products AGAIN ...
