The Richelle Freestanding gate is an awesome product. It's sturdy, attractive, easy to assemble and very versatile. Unfortunately I started with the shorter size which my 12 week old cockapoo puppy hefted himself right over the second day so I exchanged it for the higher size gate and while it's too tall to walk over easily you can step over if you do it slowly. I read complaints from other buyers that the gates weren't 'adjustable' enough for some buyer's needs but I actually like that you can fix it where you want it and it stays put.
