I use a safety gate to keep my large dogs confined to the back room when guests are present. The previous gate didn't last long. One of the very strong foster dogs broke the previous gate out of the hallway in about 15 minutes. This Munchkin gate, not only is larger, but stronger and so far it has kept my dogs securely confined. The best feature about this product (and one of the reasons I purchased it) is the variety of extension sizes.
