My recent adoptee (his previous owner had to give him up as the owner was at death's door) who is a fatty won't even eat these (he'll eat about anything else). I have to crush them up and mix them with some yogurt and fish oil that I then mix in with his food. With this product he went from being lame (he'd limp with his back right leg) and possibly needing hip surgery and knee surgery, to only needing the knee surgery (apparently his knee caps "pop" out and if this isn't fixed he'll develop problems later).
