This is a great gate. We were looking for a gate to go around our fireplace as soon as our son started to crawl. We researched numerous gates and found this one to be the best. It is fairly easy to install and is very sturdy. It is very easy to open the gate. We had to buy the 24 inch extension to add to the gate and this was easy to install as well.
