I would rate this dog door as fair for the price. I installed this in a rental so I didn't want to invest too much money into a dog door since I need such a large size. I have a 80 lb male Doberman, installed in a wooden door. The dog door was a tad bit wider than the wooden door, so we had to create a frame and seal it really well with caulk so it wouldn't leak.
