I bought the large freestanding gate earlier this summer in order to block off a large opening between my kitchen and family room. It's easy to step over and to move out of the way. My puppy has learned to stay behind the gate and doesn't even attempt to go over it even though he could. I was a bit disappointed to see the current price on Amazon. I bought it from Amazon for around 99 dollars. It looks as though the price has gone up quite a bit. I think this must be a popular item right now with pet owners.
